- THE 0.1 INCH GRID - The 0.1 inch (3.7 mm) grid graph paper is also the same as that of the Hobonichi Techo Cousin. The 4 colors of the ink (red / blue / green / purple) on the page changes every 72 pages, making it easy to split the book into several themes or use the colors as a way to more easily find old entries.
- COLLABORATION with KEIKO SHIBATA - The cover artwork was created in collaboration with the popular picture book artist, Keiko Shibata. The design titled “Who is it?,” depicts cats noticing the sound of a guest that has come to their house and staring at the front door from the room door and even from outside the window. Are the cats in a welcoming mood, or are they trying to see if they can let the guest inside? A unique scene from their daily life is rendered with a warm touch of oil pastel.
